Equally at home on modern and historical instruments\, he performs regularly with leading ensembles across the UK and beyond.\nRecent highlights include engagements with the Royal Opera House and Royal Ballet Orchestra\, recording as principal piccolo with The Hallé under Sir Mark Elder\, and appearing as recorder soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra. As an orchestral flautist\, Daniel has played guest principal piccolo and sub-principal flute with The Hallé\, Philharmonia Orchestra\, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra\, Sinfonia of London (John Wilson)\, Opera North\, London Chamber Orchestra\, and as guest principal baroque flautist with Armonico Consort. He is also guest principal recorder with the London Contemporary Orchestra\, with whom he recorded the soundtrack for The Wonder\, starring Florence Pugh.\nA skilled and experienced theatre musician\, Daniel was principal flute on the UK and Ireland tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2022–2024)\, and has performed in touring productions of The Lion King\, Phantom of the Opera\, Mary Poppins\, Les Misérables\, and Wicked.\nHis work in recording studios includes projects for Netflix\, Apple TV\, and the BBC\, and he appeared as a flautist in Ridley Scott’s film Napoleon (2023). He also recently gave a live flute lesson to Amanda Holden on Heart Breakfast radio\, reaching over four million listeners.\nDaniel studied flute\, recorder\, and baroque flute at the Royal Academy of Music\, graduating with First Class Honours in 2021. While at the Academy\, he won the Nancy Nuttall Early Music Prize\, the Jonathan Myall Piccolo Prize\, and the Postgraduate Woodwind Award for the highest final recital mark. Now an enthusiastic and committed teacher\, he is on the faculty of the Junior Royal Academy of Music\, City of London School for Girls\, and Wellington College\, Berkshire.\nhttps://www.danielswani.com/\nRoelof Temmingh is a South African pianist whose wide-ranging career spans solo performance\, chamber music\, art song\, orchestral piano\, composition\, and collaborative work with composers. His versatility has brought him to some of the world’s most prestigious stages\, including Wigmore Hall\, Royal Festival Hall\, Carnegie Hall\, Concertgebouw\, Musikverein\, and Elbphilharmonie\, as well as festivals such as Verbier\, Buxton\, Clifton\, Amsterdam Grachtenfestival\, and most recently\, World Orchestra Week in New York.\nA Young Artist of the Musicians’ Company\, Roelof was also the recipient of the Constant/Kit Lambert Fellowship at the Royal College of Music\, where he was awarded the Tagore Gold Medal for outstanding musical achievement. As a member of the acclaimed Delphine Trio\, he has recorded at Abbey Road Studios and released the trio’s debut album Adrift with Dutch label TRPTK in 2023. DESCRIPTION:NIKITA LUKINOV\nPiano\nPROGRAMME\nTBC\nNikita is an award-winning concert pianist whose recent solo engagements have taken him across the United Kingdom\, Italy\, Spain\, Switzerland\, France\, Poland\, Croatia\, Germany\, and Russia. He has performed at major venues including Wigmore Hall\, Usher Hall\, Southbank Centre\, King’s Place\, Fazioli Hall\, and the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow. \nDuring the 2022–23 season\, Nikita gave recitals at Steinway Hall (London)\, Usher Hall (Edinburgh)\, the British Institute (Florence)\, Palau de la Música (Barcelona)\, and the Embassy of the City of Hamburg\, representing Steinway & Sons. He also performed in the Hastings International Piano Series\, the Vaduz Rathaussaal in Liechtenstein\, the Celebrity Recitals series in Shrewsbury\, and completed a 10-concert tour of Scotland\, including a live broadcast for BBC Radio Scotland. In January 2023\, he won the Walcer Prize at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and made his Usher Hall solo recital debut. \nHighlights from the 2021–22 season include winning 1st Prize at the Sheepdrove UK Intercollegiate Piano Competition\, the Grand Prix at the Tokyo Stars International Competition in Japan\, and 2nd Prize at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition in Spain. He performed at the Southbank Centre\, Edinburgh Fringe Festival\, and the prestigious Verbier Festival in Switzerland. Notably\, Nikita gave two charity recitals in support of Ukraine\, in Shrewsbury (April 2022) and Berlin (December 2022)\, raising over £10\,000 for humanitarian aid. \nHe holds First Class Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees\, and is currently pursuing an Artist Diploma on full scholarship at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Since October 2022\, he has also been a faculty member in the piano department—becoming the youngest senior staff member among UK music conservatoires.
