Music Club Chair David Knotts returns to the stage with the Callanan Wind Quintet for a captivating French programme. The afternoon features Poulenc’s effervescent Sextet, full of wit and lyricism, alongside d’Indy’s elegant Sarabande and Minuet.  The programme culminates in the powerful Sextet by Louise Farrenc—a monumental work by the trailblazing 19th-century composer and virtuoso pianist, who taught at the Paris Conservatoire for over three decades.
