Come and Sing!

After a sustained hiatus due to COVID, Faversham Voices is up and running again and is re-visiting the piece composed for the first Faversham Voices concert in 2015. Toads on  a Tapestry was written as part of the nationwide Magna Carta celebrations by composer David Knotts with poet and writer John Gallas. It tells the story of the signing of the Magna Carta at Runneymede through the words of King John, his trusty raven Gibbun and the voice of the quill supported by a rowdy bunch of common folk!

Faversham Voices is a non-auditioned choir and is open to all ages and all voices. We are a [very] friendly bunch and pride ourselves in both the range and quality of the music we perform. Rehearsals are staring now for a performance in June as part of the Queen’s platinum Jubilee weekend.
