TOADS ON A TAPESTRY

TOADS on a TAPESTRY was written in 2015 by composer and Music Club chair, David Knotts as part of the nationwide celebration commemorating 800 years since the signing of the Magna Carta. David collaborated with award-winning writer, John Gallas to create a musical extravaganza which explores the history of the Magna Carta through the voice of King John, his cynical raven, Gibbun and the voice of the Quill.

Stars of the operatic stage are joined by Faversham Voices, singers from King’s Junior School and Canterbury Christ Church University and the virtuoso players of the Assembly Project.
